Calling All Champions, Role Models and Supermarket Dietitians!

Are you a 2016 Fruits & Veggies—More Matters® Champion or Role Model? Have you been working hard all year to be recognized as one? Don’t forget to send in your information by December 31, 2016 to so you can be recognized at our 2017 Annual Conference! For 2016, we recognized 10 chains as Retail Role Models, 4 as Champions and 62 non-retail organizations as Role Models and 13 as Champions.

Do your supermarket dietitians blow you away with their knowledge and support of your shoppers? Would you like to recognize them for their hard work? We have the answer! PBH is accepting submissions for our 2016 Supermarket RD of the Year through January 5, 2017. The criteria and submission form are found on the website on the Get Involved page. We were thrilled to recognize dietitians from Hannaford Brothers, Hy-Vee, Kroger, K-VA-T Food Stores, Niemann Foods, Skogen’s Festival Foods and ShopRite Village Supermarket for 2015.

The criteria for our Champion/Role Model program and Supermarket RD of the Year can be found on the PBH Foundation website.  Email Kristen Stevens, with questions.

Use of the Fruits & Veggies—More Matters® Logo

Did you know that one of the greatest benefits of your annual support of PBH is use of the Fruits & Veggies—More Matters logo?  According to the 2016 survey of moms who recognize the logo, 49% say they are more likely to purchase a product carrying the logo on pack.  If you’ve already signed the license agreement, all you need to do is email a mock-up of the label for approval to Kristen Stevens, – it’s that EASY!  Contact Kristen as well if you would like to become a licensee.  And remember – approved use of the logo helps to qualify your organization as a Champion or Role Model for 2016!
